The author of this book definitely knows what he is talking about! David Wood (as the cover says) is a retired headhunter. He has been picking through resumes cover letters for years. In this book, he finally reveals the secrets that set apart the books that wow and the books that do the exact opposite. One of the larger topics that he covers in this book is cover letters. (A letter that is more personal and lets the employer know that the possible employee's goal is in the company). His advice for cover letters is that they don't do you any good. In some cases, a cover letter can even hold the person back from having an initial chance at an even higher position than they interviewed for. To hear even more tips on cover letters, and many more tips; including the number one unknown secret for a job-getting resume, then you need to read this book!
