Two Great Business/Leadership Books

These two books, The Ball and What Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast are some of the best books of its genre that I have read.

This book packs a lot of information into just 190-some pages. It begins to convince you about how getting up early and starting your day right can lead to a whole day of success. And not only does it try to convince you to get up a bit earlier and start your day right, but it also shows the morning routine of successful businessmen and women. One person made a goal of getting up and running for a certain distance int he woods every morning. Not only did this lead to a better and more productive day but she also gets into better shape. Another thing that someone does is get up go they can spend quality time with their kids. Even the busiest people can still and should still be able to carve out time to spend with loved ones. The books then goes into two other mini-guides about what most successful people do on the weekends, and then into time sharts that people have recorded of how they spend their 168 hours every week. The author then explains how keeping a time log can help to keep you accountable for your own time.

The Ball is a book about customer service and putting the customer first. The book is a story about a shop owner and a school teacher. The shop owner, Bill was taught, my Miss. E. Bill inherited the CF Markey from his father. Miss. E is going to the CF Market to buy some cupcakes she used to have a tradition where several times a year when her students achieved something great she would bring in cupcakes. On top of the cupcakes, there was always a trinket. The trinket also always had a lesson to it. This was one of Bill's favorite memories of Miss. E's class. When Miss. E shows up at the market she is disappointed by the dirtiness of the market. It used to be known for its helpful staff and colorful aisles. However, it has fallen apart, just like Miss. E's class. When she meets Bill they go in the back while the cupcakes are being frosted and talk. To find out more, read this great and enlightening story about putting the customer first.
